To reduce the impact on citizens’ daily commute, CEM has been actively cooperating with the inter-departmental road work coordination mechanism of the Macau SAR Government to avoid repeated road excavations and strictly control the duration and scope of road works to be carried out in an orderly manner.

To optimize the overall power grid upgrade planning of Avenida de Sidónio Pais and Rua de Silva Mendes, customers within the program area can now submit an application for increasing subscribed demand to CEM on or before 13 October, 2023 based on future power demand, so as to avoid longer application process due to repeated road excavations in the future.

Customers should be aware that the application for the increase of subscribed demand will involve cable connection fee, and the related works may require repair or upgrade due to the aging of communal electrical installations in the building.
